About the podcast

The short(ish) version of the story is that in September 2023, I was struggling to find contract work. Having a broken arm and shoulder blade wasn't the problem and that is part of the long story.

While driving one day, the idea of a podcast to market myself/ my company, Dexterity Engineering, hit me. After a little more thought, a podcast called Beers with Engineers where I talk with other engineers about the stuff we don't often have time to talk about was born. My first guest was Joe Paraschac, an engineer I worked with and hung around with in the early 1990's in Cincinnati. I hadn't seen him in close to 30 years and it was great fun. So far, I have released an episode every other week with only a few exceptions.

Fast forward to summer 2025 where my goal was to put some focused effort into building the podcast. Maybe a few friends would be willing to pay a few bucks to cover the cost of making some shirts and get a little exposure. After a few people said that the shirts could be a thing in and of themselves, this store was born.

I have numerous ideas for additional designs that will roll out as time and interest permits, so check back once and a while. For a longer story on me and my company, you can check out my Dexterity Engineering website.

The long story ( I love telling stories) will appear someday...
